WILLS POINT – The gentlest breeze, almost imperceptible really, pushes the broad-beamed fiberglass boat ever so slightly too fast along the Lake Tawakoni dam.
Just 30 feet away from the jagged jumble of riprap that angles down from well above our heads into the nearly black lake waters, Chad Parker adjusts the trolling motor to keep us parallel to the dam. He flips a blood-bait loaded treble hook under a small cork toward the rocks and lets the bait settle to the bottom.
