Bohls: Nine things and one crazy prediction

By Kirk Bohls - American-Statesman Staff

While I got ya, here are nine things and one crazy prediction:

1. Call me old-fashioned, but I have a problem with taunting. Ole Miss’ hot scorer/hot dog, Marshall Henderson, taunted Florida and its fans with a Gator chomp after hitting a 3-pointer to put the Rebels up six with more than seven minutes left. Shouldn’t that be a technical? While college football rightfully attempts to rid its game of taunting, shouldn’t basketball do the same? That said, the NCAA tournament is more interesting and better off with the otherwise highly entertaining Henderson in it. Wish he were headed here. We’ll make do with notables such as Georgetown’s Otto Porter, future NBA star Shabazz Muhammad of UCLA and rising coaching star Tad Boyle of Colorado.
