1. Here’s betting Phil Mickelson will ride the momentum of Sunday’s win at the Open in Scotland and complete the Grand Slam and win the U.S. Open before his Hall of Fame career ends. Mickelson, who has long been a favorite in this corner because of his imaginative play, humility and ability to connect with fans, never looked so happy. He never looked so euphoric. Good guy, great champion.
