That’s how many Big 12 players who would have been disqualified from a game last year under the newly tweaked targeting penalty. If a player is flagged this season, he will be kicked out for two halves. If the penalty occurs in the first half, the player will sit for the rest of the game. If it’s a second-half penalty, the player also must sit for the first two quarters of his next game.
