While I got ya, here are nine things and one crazy prediction:
1. I’m not sure there’s been a more consistent, remarkably efficient team player in sports than Tim Duncan. Even in the midst of a now-disclosed divorce, the 37-year-old power forward never ceases to amaze. Can you name another athlete who, as Duncan has in leading the Spurs to a 3-0 lead against the Grizzlies, has paced his team to overtime wins the past two games but also willingly and humbly spent critical fourth-quarter moments on the bench without complaint? He is the model athlete for this generation. The NBA should update its logo and put Duncan’s silhouette on it, my respect for Jerry West notwithstanding.
