All the talk about the Austin Aztex’s early-season success has been about the team’s ability to win close matches with very little scoring. The Aztex finally found a way to get the ball in the net more than twice on Saturday against Oklahoma City FC, and they needed every goal to post a 3-2 win before a crowd of 1,272 on a balmy evening at House Park.
The win allows the Aztex (4-0, 12 points) to remain the only undefeated, untied team in the Mid-South Division of the Premier Development League. Austin has a three-point lead on Oklahoma City FC (3-0-3, nine points) four matches into the 14-game regular season.
