Police: Teen behind threatening graffiti at Rouse High School arrested


Police in Leander arrested a 17-year-old on Monday accused of penning threatening graffiti in a Rouse High School bathroom has been arrested.

Tyler Philip Contatore, of Leander, has been charged with graffiti and exhibition of a firearm, according to the Leander Police Department. Both are felonies.

Officials at Rouse notified police of the graffiti on Oct. 4 and immediately began investigating.

Police said the alleged vandal threatened that violence would occur on Oct. 12.

Additional information on the incident was not immediately available from Leander police.
