A woman has been charged with animal cruelty after her dog died inside her car with the windows rolled up while she was shopping, police said.
The woman, whose name has not been released, told police she had been shopping for two hours at a shopping center near Louis Henna Boulevard when she returned to her car Friday and found her dog unresponsive, said Dee Carver, a Round Rock police spokeswoman.
