A Round Rock lawmaker wants to make Central Texas a hub for gun manufacturers.
State Rep. Larry Gonzales, R-Round Rock, has written to more than two dozen gun-makers and weapons accessory producers in other states inviting them to consider making Round Rock, Taylor or Hutto their new homes. Gonzales’ effort comes a few weeks after Gov. Rick Perry invited several companies in the weapons industry to move to gun-friendly Texas.
