Discussing the divide between red and blue states, former U.S. Labor Secretary Robert Reich recently said that Texans are allowed to shoot people who are causing a nuisance.
“If you want to use a gun to kill someone who’s, say, spraypainting a highway underpass at night,” Reich wrote in a June 8 blog post at robertreich.org, “you might want to go to Texas, where it’s legal to shoot someone who’s committing a ‘public nuisance’ under the cover of dark.”
