Top 10 percent students who didn’t make the cut for admission to the University of Texas this fall can get into the flagship campus under a new joint program with Austin Community College, officials said Thursday.
Letters are going out Friday with offers to about 1,400 students across the state who were denied admission to UT but who rank in the upper 9th or 10th percentile of their high school class.
