We’re not alone in recognizing Austin’s potential as a leading innovation community. On Thursday, President Barack Obama visits Austin on the first leg of a tour focused on jobs and the economy. At Manor New Technology High School, a flagship of STEM — science, technology, engineering and math — education, he’ll witness Austin’s commitment to teaching kids the real-world skills needed to fill our region’s increasing tech skills gap.
