Remember their names: Alexandria Hill and Orion Hamilton. Remember their cherubic smiles. Remember their ages, 2 and 1 respectively. And remember their struggle to live normal lives under abnormal circumstances. Then remember that their deaths were preventable if the system worked. They are the faces and, we hope, change agents of our state’s stingy foster care system.
Their tragedies certainly have spurred some changes.
