The theatrical fireworks that the country witnessed in the Texas Senate as the special session ended might have made for good entertainment, but they certainly didn’t make for good government.
Don’t get me wrong — not matter what their views were, it’s always positive when Texans show up to the Capitol to make their voices heard.
