Cruzing the Constitution
During an interview this week, a reporter asked Sen. Ted Cruz if he thought he was eligible for president because he was born in Canada. He answered that his mother was born in the U.S., so that makes him an American citizen and therefore eligible. Since President Barack Obama’s birth fits the same scenario, then Cruz just destroyed the foundation of the birther movement. Either that, or he plans on amending the Constitution.
