If the Austin American-Statesman’s PolitiFact “Truth-O-Meter” were to measure the accuracy of former Travis County Commissioner Sarah Eckhardt’s commentary (Sept. 28), it would point to “Completely False.” When she accuses the Circuit of the Americas of not giving, perhaps it is because she has not taken the time to ask questions or visit our home precinct.
While keeping in mind that we have been in business less than one year, the results have been phenomenal. If you ask the thousands of hard-working people who worked to build our project, staff our concerts, races, conventions, festivals and property, they will take a different approach to “community impact.”
