If you haven’t been out to Lake Travis in a while, take heed: the popular boating destination isn’t the lake you’re used to.
The long, winding waterway has shriveled significantly from five years ago, and it is down significantly even from last year, with underwater tree limbs, rock outcroppings and other obstructions posing new obstacles for boaters who aren’t paying attention, public safety officials say.
