Fred Yazdi threatened strangers and neighbors even after he was charged with murder in 2012, witnesses said during his punishment hearing Thursday.
Shawn Echols said he was driving on Avery Ranch Boulevard on April 29 when Yazdi pulled abruptly in front of him, causing Echols to slam on his brakes. Echols said that Yazdi then parked, walked back to Echols’ car and said: “I’m the Avery Ranch killer (expletive) and you better watch who you’re (expletive) with.”
