Burglar crawls around, looking pleased as she swipes the goods


On Sept. 8, a woman entered a closed cellphone store inside the B&I in the 8000 block of South Tacoma Way.

Surveillance video showed the woman crawling around on the ground, collecting items and placing them in a large black bag.

Police said the woman left and returned to the shop three times during a 20-minute time span.

According to police, the woman left with three bags of merchandise. 

Police said 60 new Samsung cellphones, several laptops, tablets and at least 15 customer cellphones were taken. The total theft was estimated at $35,000.
