The South by Southwest festival means more musicians of all kinds in Austin, including a yearly influx of street musicians— like the young woman playing a violin on South Congress a few doors down from two high school boys banging on a drum and guitar and taking donations in a Pringles canister.
They may not get booked to Stubbs or Buffalo Billiards or any other venue, but they still want to be heard, and donations are encouraged.
