The town of Manor is poised to grow, and managing that growth is the biggest issue in May 11 city council races as candidates vie for three seats.
The small town of 5,000 in eastern Travis County is scheduled to get a Walmart in early 2014. The biggest catch so far for Manor’s economic development, Walmart will bring 300 jobs. Candidates say they want more companies, big and small, and the tax revenue that comes with them.
