Round Rock Police Chief Tim Ryle, who took pride in maintaining the city’s status as one of the safest towns in America, will retire early next year after 31 years with the department, officials announced Thursday.
“He is always on top of things and carries his duties with class and professionalism and is just a solid guy who knows the business,” said Round Rock City Manager Steve Norwood.
