Rollingwood Mayor Barry Bone caused a stir this week by blasting the company C3 Presents — producer of the Austin City Limits Music Festival — for refusing to pay his city $150,000 for what he calls disruptions caused by the event.
In a Thursday column for the Westlake Picayune newspaper (owned by American-Statesman parent company Cox Media Group), Bone also slammed the city of Austin for allowing a company to use the public space of Zilker Park, where ACL Fest is held, for private gain.
