Austin officers on Saturday will start patrolling three Austin trails during the late nights and early mornings as part of a four-month trial the Austin Police Department said will cost $350,000.
The Austin City Council voted 6-1 in January to end a 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew on the Butler, Shoal Creek and Johnson Creek trails starting June 1.
