Austin police are taking aim at junked and abandoned vehicles in a North Austin neighborhood they have targeted for a long-term crime-fighting and cleanup effort.
It’s one of many initiatives planned for the Rundberg Lane area over the next three years under the Restore Rundberg initiative, Austin police Lt. Allen McClure said. “We receive a lot of complaints from our citizens in the area … about cars being parked in the yards, and abandoned junk vehicles.”
