After a two-hour hearing Friday, state District Judge Kelly Moore said he will decide in seven to 10 days whether to proceed to trial on a lawsuit accusing former Williamson County prosecutor Ken Anderson of professional misconduct.
The State Bar of Texas, which is in charge of lawyer discipline, accused Anderson of violating rules of professional conduct by hiding evidence that could have spared Michael Morton from serving 25 years for a murder he didn’t commit. Anderson, now a district judge in Georgetown, denied the allegation.
