Saying there’s hope that federal assistance for flood damage may come through, Williamson County commissioners voted Tuesday to extend the disaster declaration issued last week.
Officials estimate that 15 homes in the county were damaged, a figure that’s below the threshold — 25 homes or businesses that are uninsured or underinsured — to qualify for disaster assistance loans offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
