Parts of Hays County were hit with some of the worst flooding in Central Texas late Wednesday and early Thursday, as a slow-moving storm dumped more than 13 inches of rain in parts of the county, while leaving others with an inch of rain or less.
Wimberley appeared to be among the communities hardest hit by the flooding, with more than 13 inches of rain falling near the town.
