On Saturday night, Madelyn and Rusty Uresti will wipe down the tables, lock up the doors and turn out the lights one last time in the old Buda Grocery and Grill, signaling the end of an era for the 100-year-old business.
“I hate to see it go because I think Madelyn and Rusty have worked hard to establish a unique business here,” said Kathy Robbins, a longtime customer, as she finished up her salad at the counter on Wednesday.
