A grand jury will decide whether to charge a 17-year-old boy with animal cruelty in the shooting death of a Great Pyrenees found under a bridge last month, the Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office said.
Sissy Jones, spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office, said the case has been forwarded to the district attorney’s office to present to a grand jury. She did not release the teenager’s name due to his age and because he has not been charged.
