After taking six practice tests, high school junior Arnav Sastry was confident he’d do well on the ACT college placement test in January. Then he found out he aced it — a feat accomplished by just one in 1,000 students.
“I was yelling, I ran into the living and told my mom. I was really excited,” Sastry said. “The first thing I said afterwards was, ‘I never have to take a standardized test again. Next year I can focus on the college essays.’”
