Austin City Council members on Thursday weighed whether to hold another bond election for affordable housing, following the November defeat of a $78.3 million housing bond measure.
But they made no decisions, and offered few hints about whether they might shoot for an election this fall or sometime next year. To put a bond measure on the November ballot, the council would have to call an election by Aug. 26.
