The chief architects of a multi-million dollar proposal to expand roads around Circuit of the Americas argued Tuesday for the quick construction of the project, though they declined to estimate its cost.
County commissioners took no action on the proposal Tuesday, awaiting a more firm cost estimate from the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority, the toll road-building agency that could to complete the project more quickly than county government can. The agency’s executive director said estimates could be provided in two weeks.
