On Tuesday, the certified public accountant from Austin joined masses of anti-abortion protesters at the Capitol to tell legislators that he supports House Bill 2, which would ban most abortions after 20 weeks and institute tough new standards for clinics. Last week, he was confident the proposed law would pass. This week, he’s not taking anything for granted.
