Jury selection was supposed to start Monday in a civil case that seeks to oust Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg from office in the wake of her drunken driving arrest earlier this year.
Instead, that step will be skipped, clearing the way for Judge David Peeples, who was appointed to preside over the case, will decide the district attorney’s fate in December.
