After a long day of deliberations and a possible deadlock, a Travis County district court judge on Friday asked jurors to resume their discussions next week in the trial of Preston Joe Sharpnack, accused of killing architect Matt Casey last year.
They have been asked to report back to the court at 9 a.m. Monday. Jurors have been deliberating for more than 12 hours since Thursday afternoon and beginning again Friday morning.
