Gerald Christopher Zuliani spiraled into rage suddenly and without reason, striking her with his fists and shouting accusations that she cheated on him with other men, his fiancée testified Tuesday.
On the stand, the woman wiped away tears, struggling to describe a harrowing assault that she said began minutes after midnight on Oct. 21, 2012, and lasted well into the morning. She said he pulled her hair and punched her, later beating her on the back of the head and legs with a metal broom, a shower curtain rod, a walking cane and a 2-by-4 piece of lumber.
