Police Chief Art Acevedo fielded heated questions during a town hall meeting on Thursday night, with some residents calling on him to take responsibility for the fatal police shooting of Larry Eugene Jackson Jr. and to step down.
Dozens of people attended the meeting at the Carver Museum and Cultural Center in East Austin where Acevedo, the attorney representing the Jackson family and city and county officials took turns speaking.
