Victim struck by vehicle in area of I-35 and East 7th Street in Austin


UPDATE @ 2:41 a.m. (Mar. 15):

One person was transported to a local hospital following a crash involving a pedestrian in the area of East 7th Street and I-35 Tuesday night, Austin police said.

According to police, the victim involved suffered injuries not believed to be life threatening.

No other information about the crash was immediately available.

INITIAL REPORT:

A person was struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in the area of East 7th Street and I-35, according to Austin police.

Officers and emergency crews responded to the area around 10:50 p.m. and located a victim, who is being attended to by medical personnel, police said.

We are working to learn more about the victim’s injuries and the circumstances surrounding the collision.
