Multi-vehicle wreck closes several lanes at I-35 and 51st St.

Several lanes of Interstate 35 are blocked Sunday night near 51st Street for a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck, Austin police said.

The department tweeted at 9:48 p.m. that it was responding to a collision in the 5400 block of North Interstate 35. Three vehicles and a semi-truck were involved in the wreck, with only minor injuries reported, APD said.

The three inside lanes on the southbound side of I-35 are blocked, and drivers should expect delays in the area, officials said.
