Vehicle catches fire after crash near Del Valle


Two people were seriously injured in a two-car crash near Del Valle on Tuesday evening, Austin-Travis County EMS officials said.

One of the vehicles caught fire, EMS officials said. The crash happened around 6:50 p.m. in the 12000 block of Pearce Lane.

The two victims’ injuries are potentially critical, EMS officials said. The victims are both men; one man is estimated to be in his 20s, the other in his 30s. 

They were taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, officials said.
