The City of Hutto is starting a national search for an assistant city manager. An executive search firm, Strategic Government Resources, is helping the city market the position and will also assist in narrowing down the candidates, according to a city press release.

“I’m looking for an assistant city manager who has the experience needed to assist me with duties from implementing organization-wide policies and strategies, to managing Hutto’s tremendous growth,” stated City Manager Odis Jones in the press release.

The assistant city manager’s responsibilities include helping with planning, the city’s budget, economic development and revitalization of downtown, the press release said.
