Four dead in Cedar Park crash


Cedar Park police are investigating a crash overnight along U.S. 183 that left four people said.

The vehicle is believed to have hit a pole in the 1700 block of North Bell Blvd. about 4:17 a.m., police said. Four people were pronounced dead at the scene; the driver was injured but isn’t believed to have life-threatening injuries.

Police were not releasing the identities of the victims pending notification of relatives.

The accident caused limited power outages in the area. Officials said Pedernales Electric Cooperative crews were on the scene this morning working to restore service.
