Firefighters battle South Austin home blaze

Firefighters battled a house fire in a neighborhood just south of Zilker Park on Wednesday night.

The call came in around 9:45 p.m. in the 1500 block of Rabb Road. There were no occupants because the house was undergoing remodeling at the time, so no one was injured, Austin fire officials said.

Firefighters arrived to see heavy fire coming from the attic of the single-family home, officials said.
