U.S. 290 WB service road in North Austin shut down after crash


The U.S. 290 westbound service road at Johnny Morris Road in North Austin has been shut down due to a multiple vehicle collision in the area, authorities said.

Five people were involved in the crash, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

One woman in her 30s was declared a trauma alert due to her critical condition and was be taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge, according to EMS.

Three men were also taken to Brackenridge with potentially serious injuries, EMS said. One person refused treatment, medics said.
