One morning earlier this summer my wife and I took our boys to a park. When we returned to our car we met a gentleman walking around the parking lot putting little tracts on people’s cars. He walked up to me and asked if I would like a book that told me about the kingdom of God.
When approached by people holding a little book that they claim holds the essential information I need to get into heaven, I usually just say, “No thank you.” But at the time of this encounter, I was on vacation and I was relaxed and feeling a little feisty. So in response to his question I said, “No it’s cool man … I’m a Presbyterian Minister at a church downtown.”
