Jessica Alba became a boldfaced Hollywood name by portraying everything from a “Fantastic Four” superhero to an espionage-expert-turned-mom in “Spy Kids 4.”
Her newest project, though, is a lot closer to home. When she was pregnant with her daughter Honor, now 4, Alba combed stores for cleaning and personal-care products that worked well yet were nontoxic. It was an ongoing hunt, so Alba decided to tackle that market niche. In 2012, she launched The Honest Company, an eco-friendly family-products brand.
