Earlier this year, Houston cookbook author Shubhra Ramineni published her second cookbook, “Healthy Indian Vegetarian Cooking” (Tuttle Publishing, $18.95).
At the end of the month, Ramineni is participating in several panels at the Les Dames d’Escoffier International’s national conference, which is Oct. 25 and 26 in Austin. The organization, which has an active Austin chapter, is composed of women in the food, beverage and hospitality industry who often raise money for culinary scholarships.
