As a retired airline pilot and Naval Reserve pilot, I have always maintained my health and fitness. While employed, I had four required physicals a year, which meant I had to stay healthy. Now, as a senior, I maintain my fitness by doing Pilates with a personal trainer. I recently completed a three-month fitness challenge with the Pilates Center of Austin, where I committed to five fitness/health goals just after the new year. I met or exceeded my goals with extraordinary results. I strive to balance health, fitness and healthy eating to enhance my senior life.
