Local blogger chosen to write for local malls
You might recognize her friendly and easygoing posts about style and family life from the popular local blog, Adored Austin. And now you’ll hear more from blogger Indiana Adams. She’s been selected as Austin’s Simon Style Setter blogger, and will share her fashion and beauty opinions for some Austin-area malls.
Adams’ posts will cover topics such as current trends, shopping advice and the latest items available at Barton Creek Square, Lakeline Mall and The Domain, which are all part of the Simon Property Group. In addition to blogging, Adams will occasionally participate in some style events such as mall fashion shows and store openings.
Adams is among about 40 nationwide style bloggers selected to localize fashion content for Simon mall shoppers. The former actress moved to Austin in 2006, and in 2009 launched Adored Austin. She later helped create the Texas Style Council, which will be held in August this year and will be called TX SC Summer School. The social media conference focuses on networking and learning and is open to participants such as female lifestyle bloggers and business owners.
As far as her new gig, Adams said in a news release, “There is a great appetite in the market for trend based updates, tips and retailer information written from a personable point of view, and I look forward to being a reliable resource.”
